Vineyards and Winery La Magdalena
Desde 1958
The winery is located in the southeast of the province of Cuenca, at an altitude of 740 meters above sea level. The special soil conditions of the DOP Ribera del Júcar · Cuenca allow for optimal and homogeneous ripening of the grapes, providing high-quality raw material.
Generation after generation, the vintners of the area have developed efficient and environmentally friendly cultivation techniques, obtaining a unique raw material with great quality potential.

Pebble soils and old vines
The varieties cultivated include Bobal, Tempranillo, Garnacha, Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Merlot for red wines, and Airén, Macabeo, Verdejo, and Moscatel de Grano Menudo for white wines.
The age of the vineyards varies, allowing for balanced production at all times. They also have old vineyard estates with vines over 60 years old.
In 1990, the first wines under the Vega Moragona brand were bottled, including red and rosé wines made from the Cencibel variety. Today, they offer a wide range of young wines, Crianzas, Reservas, and organic wines.
Always committed to the native Bobal variety, these vineyards have remained unchanged over time, resisting the intrusion of foreign varieties and boasting an age of over 50 years.
